Your Mission
The mission of the Payroll and Benefits Manager is to ensure the seamless delivery of global payroll and benefits programs that are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business needs and employee expectations. These are the top 3 challenges we’ll want your expertise focused on:
- Guaranteeing payroll accuracy and compliance across multiple countries and systems, safeguarding employee trust and meeting statutory obligations.
- Optimising processes and systems to create scalable, efficient, and well-controlled payroll and benefits operations that support business growth and acquisitions.
- Enhancing employee experience by providing consistent, transparent, and high-quality support in payroll and benefits, reinforcing Legend’s reputation as an employer of choice.
- Building strong partnerships internally (with People, Finance, and leadership teams) and externally (with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and vendors) to ensure cost-effectiveness, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Payroll Management
- Lead end-to-end payroll across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timeliness. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international payroll regulations and tax laws as well as internal policies and procedures; manage any required changes pro-actively. Act as the primary point of contact for all payroll matters, including management of the global payroll inbox.
- Oversee our Employer of Record (EOR) payroll and vendor relationships.
- Safeguard data integrity and confidentiality, ensuring payroll is right first time.
- Partner closely with Finance and People teams to streamline processes and drive automation.
- Lead payroll-related projects, from transformation, system improvements, to acquisitions and integrations. Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes, systems, and controls, and lead on collaboration with other teams where required.
- Lead and support payroll-related projects, including global payroll harmonisation, automation initiatives and acquisition related integration activity.
- Provide clear insights and analytics on payroll trends, costs, and workforce metrics. Take ownership of payroll data analytics, providing leadership with insight into payroll costs
- Strengthen internal controls, support audit and reporting compliance.
