You role will include the following responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the New Zealand folder for the site, in terms of optimising any existing pages and driving the expansion of future pages on our product.
- Be a gatekeeper for all content that goes onto our product. Auditing and carrying out SEO research/quality deep dives (with support) according to Google algorithm updates on pages, creating new ones, and tracking progress with internal tools.
- Brief and liaise with freelance writers and agencies to ensure expansion of future pages on our product, ensuring best SEO optimised, high quality copy aligned to our style guide. With the long term prospect of heavily optimising and if needed rewriting yourself as needed to guarantee our number 1 position in Search Engine Results Pages for NZ casino content
- Be always up to date regarding market and compliance changes, industry trends, gaming news and changing user needs to proactively pitch new ideas, adjust and improve our product.

- A very strong writer and editor. We're looking for someone who can write engaging long-form content that takes the user by the hand and offers the maximum amount of value.
- Someone who thrives when working to weekly and monthly deadlines, and that can produce long-form content at pace.
- Familiar with on-page SEO optimisation with some understanding of SEO tools like SEMrush or ahrefs or Surfer SEO).
- Good experience of using content management systems (bonus points if they’re familiar with Contentful or WordPress).
